The clock needles move...

The digital numbers proceed one another…

In silence… still…

Time… relentless… never ending… Ad Aeternum…

 

Tik Tak…

 

Seconds.

Minutes.

Hours.

Days.

Months.

Years…

Look at all those fears…

And… sure… tears.

 

Tik Tak…

 

Decades.

Centuries.

Millennia.

Million, Billion… Gazillion.

 

Tik Tak…

 

Can move forward…

Or be a count-down…

 

Tik Tak…

 

As some explosive… ready to blow…

 

Tik Tak…

 

Oh… Why? Oh… time thou hadst devour all things?

What never-ending famine thou must feel inside thy belly…

 

Tik Tak…

Tik Tak…

 

The man looked at the clock…

And felt a never dying anguish…
