It began at an art session for children during the lockdown

"Paint a happy picture, some thing to make people happy and cheerful"

  

As they began to paint a few were drawing multi coloured ribbons and rainbows "Why are you drawing rainbows?

"Over the rainbow is blue sky's where birds sing and people are happy, we want people to be happy"

  

The rainbows were painted the tutor said to take them home and put them in their window to show that happy children were living there and make people who passed happy

People asked where they got the rainbow and what it was for "Can you make one for me?   

  

The Rainbow was accepted as a symbol of love for all the workers who are keeping our communities going in difficult times

A symbol of hope for the future

From our children our future

  

Somewhere over the rainbow

Sky's are blue

Birds sing over the rainbow

Whyhy then  OH!

Why can't I?

Those times seem so long ago and yet the impact of lockdown was huge and still is. The rainbow a sign of hope. I loved seeing the rainbow pictures in windows. That song by Judy Garland an all time classic. Pleased I stopped by.

thank you two weeks before lockdown I had an immune system failure and was locked down myself
I began (made an attempt) to write a book
An historical fiction several false starts > an managing our food supply when you are not allowed to leave the house
I now have two books and three halves to edit

This was written in a really hard time > we were ALL confined because of covid

For myself I was told to make a will
My immunity system had brohken down & Iwas on extra stongf steroids our son wassent homefrom work to take care of us
I had build store of non perishable food >> to ladt for 6 weeks
