Drowning

 

I try to run

But there’s no place to run to

I look around for a place to hide

There’s nothing

Flat land surrounds me

As fare as the eye can see.

Sand everywhere

It’s not hot or cold out.

 

I’m sinking

I scream for help

But there’s no one around to hear my cries

I look for something to grab

Nothing

I’m drowning

No ones there to save me

Please lord help me!

I’m drowning in my sorrow and pain.

Sometimes I know exactly how the narrator is feeling..I think sometimes everyone does.
