A Poem by Perspective
"

Hello

"
A greater understanding
Never taken for granted
Appreciate the little things
Ask how your doing
care what it means
Tell me your dreams
Tell me a lie
Tell me you love me
An eye for an eye
For you, for us, for love
I'd of died
Swallow your pride
In me you confied
Young and alive
Only the strong survive
You are all deprived
Spoon fed lies
Living with somebody else's guilt
Playing somebody else's guitar
Singing your own tune
Marching to the beat of your own drum
You'll never know the meaning of fun
Such an undeniable feeling
To know I have won
So subtle
I exspect no rebuttal
I exspect nothing less
I exspect nothing
exceeding expectations
I have replaced them
Taken over by the colors of life
Driven under by the reasoning of realities
Risen above this darkness
In these times of defining character
In this place of refining scattered truths
From the ground where I stem from my roots
My evidence refutes and I refuse
To do anything less than branch out
Reaching for the sun, Feeding on this energy
