That

That

A Poem by Aunre
"

State the obvious and someone will always complain.

"
I love to angst about things that don't concern me
It's a habit of someone that always complains, you see
When I was little, I was little once... a vampire bit
Three times, right here, in my neck and it hurt
Like hell-spawn I became the dark side of all things
Light and fluffy and cuddly

It was as if my soul was mated to sorrow and sugar donuts
With sprinkles of light hate and a dash of love-energy
I splurged on the obvious
More of this and that and thee... lots of thees
Thees are really tasty, and fully of the things
That just keep on giving

So, I state the obvious and like the predictable
Creatures that are humanity I rejoice in knowing
Someone will always complain

The poem makes me think of white baby seals. it looks so cute until it bites your hand off but it's still cute!

Whoa! A review!!
Why is this unread? It was as if my soul was mated to sorrow and sugar donuts - wish I'd written that.
