Little Squares

Little Squares

A Poem by Aunre
"

Unchanged frames.

Little Squares

Logging in against the wind
Whose online this time
The faces have changed but
The frames remain the same

Read a few with catchy words
Little sponges full of blood
And full of tears and vast herds
Of grazing, lowing uncertainties

Let's all fall down on pavement
Scruff up our knees in unison
Wail in anguished bereavement
Then apply those colorful band-aids

There's a predilection for clever diction
It keeps attention in parade line format
Even the royalty gives some wrist action
The little squares remain warm with friction

Little sponges full of blood
And full of tears and vast herds
Of grazing, lowing uncertainties
I don't get around here much - and it is words like this that remind me how much I miss being here.
