Around AroundA Poem by AunreWalking round the village circle.
I am here and I am not
But I walk in circles With various thoughts Of why my shoes touch The sidewalk cracks And why I should not Look back too much The small stone bridge Beckons to my feet It wants companionship I think; but the crossing To the sidewalk there Is fraught with dangers Waters beneath are tossing Though the wall is sturdy And tall, I dare not look Lest I should fall but then It would be no sorrow For my kin have not the will To bear me good or ill or To wonder where I have been © 2013 AunreFeatured Review
