Really Alone?

"Ugh! I'm so lonely, the whole world has cast me out to be all by myself! No one actually likes me...I'm so alone." My best friend shouts.

Are you really alone?
What about me?
Why do you moan?
I'm here can't you see?

I wipe your tears,
hug them away.
Help with your fears,
I'll always stay.

But still you claim,
there's no one there
This is lame,
it isn't fair.

I get no credit,
for helping you.
Only a headache
for all I do.

It makes me feel,
like I'm not there
when you feel
alone or impaired

I'm trying to help
i clench my fist
you say you're alone, Whelp,
If you insist.


I browse the writing

Many say they're alone
but I have to wonder
If the truth has shone
or if someone like me is standing out yonder.

This is almost everything I wanted to say to my now, ex best friend, Quin. She was always saying no one was there for her, and i had grown tired of her negativity as it was not, in any way helping my anxiety...

A very powerful write and so true. Do we have someone close or don't we? If we are crying we are alone to someone we need to take a closer look at ourselves. What wound do we have within. Best to find out before being alone becomes reality.
