Math

Math is difficult and makes you mad.

I pull my hair and scratch my head,
Oh no,I wish I was dead.

My brain is burning as I try,
To understand the root of pi

I cry and yell but no one hears,
My pain is lost upon his ears,

Why must math be so hard?
Stupid teacher, he's a nard!

"Teacher, teacher, why so cruel?
It's hard enough to come to school!"

He stares at me with steely gaze,
No response, he's in a daze

I groan aloud and lay down my head,
Leave me here, I'm good as dead.

Math sucks.

Reading this poem, am reminded of my own struggles, with math, but at the gifted level, where the nerds hung out. Except I wasn't a math nerd, just an average student, who never understand algebra or calculus, for that matter. Sadly, my brain was never the same, after university prep level calculus. Thanks for the laugh, it has lighten up my day. :)
