beautiful and fitting picture to go with this. As i was reading, i really couldn't help but smile. I love the snow, and this year it seems as if there hasn't been any worth speaking of, so this poem really made me miss the cold, bitter, but beautiful snowflakes. A really cute poem that ended perfectly.
As the sun arrives
I shake my hair free
Of all of the little snow flake guys
And let the subtle sun shine down on me
the part about " the little snow flake guys" was just so sweet.
So anyways, lovely poem.
But on the technical side, the second to last stanza you have an "-ace" word where there should be an "-ake" but really, that didn't take away from the awesomeness of it. Just that sometimes when people post on here they post the same ones for competitions/contests and i'd hate for you to get docked because of one little line.
Ok, so enough of my blathering.
Fantastic poem! Write On!
I love this piece! It has a calming feel to it and I love the descriptions and the imagery. Winter is a great season. I wish I could experience the snow. I live in a place where it doesn't get cold enough to snow...we only get rain :) Great piece! :)
