I knew You Were By Myside

This is about my grandma I was on parole and couldn't get approved to go see her before she died nor to her funeral

I remember the day 
You were called home
I was so broken and all alone
I never got to say goodbye 
But I knew u walked thru that light 
And angels danced with you
Reunited with people who so loved you 
God's face was upon you
As he reached out to your hand 
I was thankful that you made it to the promised land
God's hand touched my life 
I knew you were by my side 
Think he let's you look down upon
All of us that are here in hell
All your prayers were heard by Him
It was my greatest pleasure to let you in
There's never no doubt 
That God and you had this plan
To be the greatest friend 
I will always think about you 
Til the day I get to see you
