How I Want It To Be

peom about my future

As a child I always wanted to grow up,

now I'm older and all I wanna do is go back.

So now I'm getting closer to my adulthood,

there's one thing that's been on my mind lately.

I want to go to college and master in arts,

or maybe become a vet and start a rescue.

In the future, I want kids of my very own,

before I think of kids though, I need to search.

When the time comes, I need to find "the one",

the guy who I can love and trust to raise my kids.

I can't have just any guy in the world though,

there's one thing I can't deny myself, I want him.

One day I wanna live in my own 5-7Bdrm house,

a big backyard with a pool, and 2 big water dogs.

A car in my garage, preferably a 4-wheel drive truck,

with dirt on it's sides and mud on all four of the tires.

I want a lot of things in life I can't have right now,

so I guess I'll have to suffer through this life I have.

For now, I just want to get good grades in school,

I'll have to forget the wants, and focus more on needs.
