TeacherA Chapter by LoveYourselfwww.oneword.comI don't understand why they don't get awards because I think that they deserve millions of them. Teachers work their butts off just to teach us things that they had to learn when they were our age.
Teachers are so very special in the life of the young they are the people that make tomorrow's leaders. I think we need to take a moment in time to thank them for doing what they do because they are special.
They deserve so much more pay then they get, they deserve to be called Heroes and awarded medals. Teachers are what keeps our communities and lives going they are the bricks that build up our educational needs.
It should be known to all teachers, that no matter what they are appreciated for everything they do for us students. No matter what grade or what kind of student we are that deep down inside, we appreciate what they do for us.
Not all of us may be able to express that to each of our teachers...our mentors...but we all need to take that time now. Teachers are what will continue to keep this nation growing and thriving throughout the time and age of the human race.
It is here and now that I take a stand and send a shout out to all of my teachers, new, present and ones from the past. Whatever grades we get in the class does not matter much, but it's the fact that you in some way, changed a child's future.
Here and now, later in life most of all, we will look back on you and remember all the times we should have done the homework. We will remember how we should have studied for our quizzes and tests but instead we went out and partied with our friends.
When we are your age, we will finally understand how important our education was and still will be then, and we will be thankful to you. I wanted to let you know before the school year is over that to you I will always be grateful, and that you will always be appreciated.
My parents may have started me off by teaching me to walk and talk but it is teachers like you who have planted, fertilized, and grown my education..first planting the seeds of knowledge within my brain then fertilizing the seed, and now making sure it keeps on growing.
It's nearing the end of school, but I just had to make sure you knew what exactly you should be appreciated for in this teaching career. You, my teacher, will be remembered as a teacher, a mentor, and a hero..for that, there are no amount of words that equal our gratitude. © 2011 LoveYourselfAuthor's Note
