When I Cry

dedicated to Max...

When I cry silently

to myself, I violently

mentally beat myself up,

crying makes me feel fucked up.

 

When I cry alone

I feel so prone

to being weakened

and one day defeated.

 

When I cry out loud

I fear I'll be found

out, not as tough as

everyone thinks I am.

 

When I cry soundlessly

everyone hounding me

all at once and I will

not let another tear spill.

 

When I cry real hard

it opens the scarred

remains of my heart

that has broken apart.

 

When I cry big ol' tears

I let go of all my fears

and pain and sufferings

pulling at my heartstrings.

Author's Note

dedicated to Max because I know how much he hates crying and I can totally relate...it makes us feel weak around the others who are around us...but we both need to realize that crying is a sign of strength, and if our friends cant accept that we are human and we cry sometimes, than they arent the right people to be hanging around because our friends and family should be there for us no matter what..

I enjoyed this a lot. I have that same view of crying, and it is a sign of strength to be able to feel so strongly. It's sad that most people view it is a weakness.
