Desultory

A Poem by Perdition
"

This may change...though I should doubt it. Oh, and Happy New Year to all in appreciation for always such my inspiration

"
There commands no sword unspoken
a land less traveled as before demands us
though we may bear such scars from God
your robe upon the floor
abandons

Make not the arrow as
our reverence demands,
when chalice fills us nightly
questions come to tongue become quite certain
as we sow ourselves through time

Should I
not seeing your eyes beneath me
understand the cause
or should these hands as vessels do
meet their curiosity as well

Let us wake from Rome together
both apple as lash stares upon our sill
and yet we are still as paint, wet and inclined
defined as no tomorrow
and how it gathers us in mind by question
inch by length through mile
to fondle marked as twain
in depth of mystery

Hello, long-known wandering solitary mortal and poet! As ever you write a tale within words that flow time and place, cleverly laid, ripe and ready, ' how it gathers us in mind by question - inch by length through mile - to fondle marked as twain - in depth of mystery. Beautiful video, song unknown to ignorant me!
