Among the wildflowerA Poem by PerditionCome with me come awhile among the wild reeds and bursts of geese in all their wings in offerings We’ll set a bed of nettles of leaves and smaller things taken as a tendering for the sleepy hills wild hands among the wildflower Come morning come dressed in ocean breeze and the wishful for such sins, to all your colors come as one that wills Come as I've always known quenched in season fluent in tomorrow, and love’s first birth that June life of all that grows among the wild Come- discover this death again awaiting The laughter you've all but forgotten The horizon has always been our only journey a thirst come blood and tear come everything that sings from nest come blossoms bursting from the bud so come the burdens with the daisy Come and we will be the fools a magnitude of one come wild colors that would cluster Come again come until that final hour finds us weary and spent of every light from every star from wherever I might find you © 2024 PerditionReviews
