La Vita è Bella

La Vita è Bella

A Poem by Perdition

Soon the rumors came round

Blue birds, red capped robin

snaps of the Black-billed magpie

And from all of this pander

came the infinite propagation

face to face with her morning

There wasn't much to offer

bit of night from my hands

But once intended

I found myself obliged

walking beside life's angels

in the crevice of death's crowded mountain

Sight of honeysuckle

purple bells by their trees in the little leaf  Linden

Tilia cordata

framed on the riverbank without name

I bled my shoulder to its water

I heard the dove, white as page fly away

high above me, past the drumming

where the rain falls in its brilliant Italian

La vita è bella

dearest Perdition… my maiden name was Pantili, although my family was from Hungary.. somehow I claim both Countries. I am drawn to your Title and the words therein. I love ❤️ the 🎶 Music of both Countries, and I think of the Blue Danube as my Origin; however Italy is my place of Vineyards and Visions. gently, Pat

Thank you, I am glad that you like the direction I'm going in.
I hope so.
Fragrant and full of the life of a misty morning. What a wonder to the senses, you have a gift for framing that exceeds most others. Truly magnificent piece. Great to read you again!

"framed on the riverbank without name" but the poem will find itself sooner or later and the rumors will prove true.
