dear Perdition… we seem to be drawn to the Stars to wish upon… the North Star to guide us and Venus to 💕 love us. Thank you for your romantic rendezvous persuasions. softly, Pat
What a beautiful thing to see and feel that star quality in another. As Jacob has said, it is shameful that you have only had one review for this emotionally charged poem. Now you have another. Quality poetry.

Yes, I do Chris and two quality reviews are worth a thousand " Hey really enjoyed...thanks" and day of the week..lol. I was having a night when I wrote this out. Sometimes you point at an old love or a distant star and just let it out. Start tapping from the heart. Off-topic but recently spoke about Springsteen's changing in the Eighties to a more Pop sound and he spoke of having to change in a recent interview with Stern. Last night I went through old albums with those jacket lyric sleeves...Badlands and Rosarita and Jungledland and I think if he had kept writing operas like that, there is no way he would have been able to remember all the lyrics. The speaker is making a gamble, is out there, vulnerable. If the other can sense this, and feels a sympathetic vibe, the gamble was successful. If not, win some, lose some.

If I remain beyond the hour, I'll try and bring more, but more to the barrel of truth, as noble and silent as I can muster and for those who may not know, I chose long ago to use this name "Perdition".. more..
