Alone I walkA Poem by PerditionAlone I walk, once only in courage, now closer to voices where since I can recall the life astride, our hours of skin, and the dawn adrift, the moment lost on sake and silence And though these clouds are blend as angels, love is bond, uncommon, a time of wealth as we are now unknown, lost and where the highest law defends let our pledge be ours It grades with need it fears the lack unquestioned You face in hour needle plunged From our sins returns the wounds yearning for the glass and hemlock we were fools daring to follow our feelings Fools to touch the heaven within I know not from what this bears only distraught for death when rendered I know only from life and coil, the warrant, fool, the seed inside your iris Where my tomb will rise let solace reign A final storm forgiveness this heart in search of you a lion from the weeds let there be with sun uneasy a quest against the hill an iris, ten.... the beauty I have seen soft and settled into mine They will beg to plead finality they will learn the mark of fate from here we are thieves repaired in souls shall fear what unwinding © 2023 PerditionReviews
