The Letter

The Letter

A Poem by Perdition

Dear Poetry,
Had I not fashioned my soul with your fire, your sin, your spit and wonder, Had I not lived believing that you were out there waiting, waiting to share your dragons, your demons and your light, Had I not believed you were out there, coming to change everything...I would have walked into flames long ago.

Your welcome
I agree with the sentimental belief of this delightful piece of poetry. I think you speak to the heart of most poets in these words. Thank you for sharing this poem with us.
