![]() A QuestionA Poem by PerditionIs this enough to love what comes in shards and fragments Enough to spare our open wounds Is it enough these words before the light of summer grows cold The only truth I've ever known trembles in this lingering star It bleeds Come night or rainfall It calls, it haunts me Is this enough to live- enough to die, enough to dare- enough.. The love of these shattered arms is it enough The life we shared, come others is there enough, still hovering in the twilight In promises whispered branches, birds and ghosts of older springs Two of us, someday one asleep and lifeless, Dreams to blades in the memory and beds of goldenrod, Could this be enough © 2022 PerditionReviews
