![]() The Greatest Sin of AllA Poem by PerditionIf I could leave this second turn and walk away, all things clean, returned to unbruised memory I wouldn’t
Better the sun with its plan better the rain for reminding
Every breath Every beat Every moment Is the journey
If I could turn and wash away the leather, unfaded, unscathed, this man I was this man I would not know
I am too far from this day connected the road untraveled, well that is life- the tread toward light is long indeed, but to wake, and to not wear in stride its mark you've left against each other, to grow and be crippled by chance or some other scar carry too easily away, and to believe that I have traveled too far from my ways For me this would be the greatest sin of all © 2022 PerditionReviews
