UnsettlingA Poem by PerditionSettled in to the unsettling dream I realize the futility of my name, the distance from one life to the next unleashed from the surface
of water indifferent
as the cup inside the steam the barrier of which lies infinite to the creed Yet, what
morning has no world, no meaning what voice
outside this sea, what shell, what hand or mirror would grasp such distance as cries the introvert the clock as it dangles our world, swimming to the surface of a lamb inside the well I grasp at a single leaf a forest
from my mind the infinite to one in a single toss and the
unfathomable darkness glaring back as the chemistry bursts into life © 2019 PerditionReviews
