I can imagine You sitting alone, go wandering with Your mind through life, through love and the universe to write these words, haunted by memories, by love that is gone but still lingers, thinking of these many things that somehow seem unable to change, how and why?! as I was reading Your words I didn't expect Your last verse, and have to say my friend it's the great one one! revealing behind the curtains deep wisdom, how in pain You rise, how what it will always matter is the now, and the essence within You, no matter how the world around You goes or changes.

T.. read more"Haunted' now that seems to be the perfect way to describe what love's experience has been for me. There are not many, not many indeed who understand that when you give, you give all or nothing and there is simply no other way to let love reach and unveil you. It is very hard to be "keepers of the invisible" and to be wanting the tangible of love because we are poets and experience and express and see on such a different level that is not easily meant for most. By the way I don't usually discuss the content but in this poem I think you are very intuitive (spot on) because there is a lover's mystery here that even I can learnand grow from. If it can be broken then break it, otherwise what have you got? Walk with everything you have and expect nothing in return except the same. It does make great partners and friends that we just cannot seem to keep our hands off which seems to be the ultimate gift in life and love. Course it has been a lot of fun searching...lol. I'm just kidding. Thank you once more Light and when I return from my family of visitors I am looking forward to nothing shy than diving into your wonderful poems.Till then you are truly a wise soul and I am grateful to have come to know you. Till that time comes take care, your friend and fellow poet: Perdition~

I've heard before that I'm intuitive, maybe I am :) I only write what I feel while reading something, it's an honor to have Your trust sharing with me what You've, also a pleasure to share thoughts with You.
You know You are more than welcome to "dive" anytime You feel like, until then say hello to Your family's visitors and enjoy the times there ~
now maybe my friend and fellow Poet, maybe it's the time to change Your "Perdition~" into "Paradise~" :)

Writing is Hell! No other way to say it. You are never fully satisfied with your work and your only reward is to do it over all over again with another poem, every day facing that blank page or what I refer to as that "great white ocean", simply said, " it is a beast" and that is how I remind myself that I must continue to be diligent with my passion for poetry. Just by using that name. Many have come to love it and othesr never get it, but not my audience obviously...lol. But perhaps the time will come. Whitman gave us his "Leaves of Grass" and even on his Death bed he was still not satisfied. They call it the DeathBed Edition published in 1892. He must of edited that book at least a hundred times and still not satisfied. Started with 12 poems and finished when he died at 400 poems....yep. I think he got the notion of poetry as a form of Perdition :)

should I call You Perdition? maybe Phill? Jack?!.. lol

What a poem! I love this *raven on shoulder caws in agreement*
it gentle but has an eerie factor to it. Monotonous and bitter with a hint of mocking. Much like how a serial killer would talk to his victim. Amused in a dark way. It was also light and a bit happy too. Idk why...

Always in the in-between, here and there. Majestic, painful, and wondrous. What will the fruit of The Moment sow? This space of mighty pause is profound.
I adore your words.

Thank you so much for your input. So vey insightful!
Wonderful pace and tone, and that first line is really killer. I feel stupid for saying this but as I was reading it kept popping into my head that this was about a vagina...lol and not just because of the ovary part. With all the little words spread throughout, it just kept coming to me. Maybe I'm just pathetic. Great writing and sorry for that, sometimes my mouth and mind have no filter.

Like breathing. You saviour each and all. Inhale and exhale. The bitter the sweetness of the world as well. The humdrum of life and humanity and oneself. Fill each moment of this time spent on earth. Beautiful absorbing poetic flow to your deep thoughts and word.
