The mysticism and surrealism in this piece is outstanding.
Bravo!

dear Perdition...a calm rendition of our existence...
since I am aged like sweet knowing mountain air...
I think it fair to tell you that I thrive on the song of birds
and the sweet nectar of flowers sipped by hummingbirds.
"What is out there is within". A "blushing star... like an untouched ovary
against the galaxy" is worth a million wishes. truly, Pat

I noticed your point below your title last night as well, concerning your "forte" and I must say you truly went after someone or something last night didn't you? haha. I thought it very clever and agreed with it completely though perhaps a bit harsh but loved your point as Art is all encompassing and is meant to open minds via senses, consciousness or subconsciousness through beauty of the artist and keeping it's point aimed at the expanding awareness of such beauty within our quality and search for truth, and certainly sexuality falls within that realm so any review should keep that in mind and leave all judgment or bias out..remembering our "Ode to a Grecian Urn". However, subjectivity is a human quality that makes objectivity unrealistic thus becoming a hard matter to deal with..so basically well put Aurora!! Bias leads us straight into censorship and to hell with that ..ABSOLUTELY! Now, let's go check out that "porn"..lol. Just a joke..I'm sure it's beautifully tasteful and deeper than whomever realizes. Thanks again Aurora!

I tend to do that every now and then. Apparently now..lol. Still thank you for the kind review.
"Whatever blushing star,
Fragrant sound, or distant hush
Spell binds your reason
Like an untouched ovary against the galaxy"
loved this bit
something ethereal and interstellar about the whole affair
you successfully hang the observer amongst the stars
the witness human made party to cosmic interplay
fantastic

Deep. I really would like to know how this poem came to be/was inspired. What sound, or what notion moved such intensely delving thoughts to be written down and then typed up. I like this poem, its certainly isn't something to just brush over but rather reread several times over. Think on, and ponder... well written indeed. What meaning was the central core concept that you were intending on expressing with this?
Thanks for sharing!

Pain and loss is the central core element that tied it all together while writing this one out..Hope this helps and thank you for the kind words.

Your writing skills are either in a slump or ya didn't like this one all that much? I've read your work and just as a woman's heart will burn and the sun's fate will toil to find its western grave, I know that have a greater command for the language than this review so don't be afraid to tell it like it is on my page..that's what it's there for when you need to scream. Good reviews keep the river raging in a high paced rafe .. You're at a point when all the poet's diseases come to plaque your sleeves and rattle your chains...the inner dialogue is a must and tht noise we've come to know is the hell fire sets out and on its way so don't waste your moments as i know you won't..

Your words are so deep and profound, Perdition. The image is perfect too. I understand them on a very personal level. “ Like an untouched ovary against the galaxy”- brilliant simile. Language, flow, theme all amazing. Vibrations, Obsessions intrude on our quiescent wavelengths, overcome our filters. Profound poem.
