Whatever slit this world into two and yours within
Be it shackled or winged

The experience of being is so varied and clouded, we feed our hopes into action and then we fly away, but to where?..that which is without is within and that which is within becomes without. When life is our experience we learn this world with balance. Born and split with every step making our conscious illusion, shackled by nothing and all things..whatever speaks our truth and creates the world around I suppose. Perhaps one scar at a time...perhaps the soul transcendent and perhaps both if we are lucky.
What a gripping write! The best of us know how to surf that fine line between the Personal and the Universal. This poem is a great example of tying the two together.

Insomnia soaked in impassioned fate talking with your night owl visions and trying to accept the fate given. I got different meanings but especially love the last stanza feels a powerful punch to your eyes of relation like whatever is within is an ongoing war to pry between pain and love.
You've crafted such a beauty of a poem with some magnificent word combinations, phrases and ideas. So creative.

Thank you for your kind words and for stopping by to read this favorite of mine as well. Let's hope that galaxy isn't too, too far away.. smiles~
If I remain beyond the hour, I'll try and bring more, but more to the barrel of truth, as noble and silent as I can muster and for those who may not know, I chose long ago to use this name "Perdition".. more..
