Seconds More

Seconds More

A Poem by Perdition

She decorates her words

While a river empties over our flamenco morning

The cereal poured is disguised as conversation

Spoons are fashioned by the concave

And I want to tell her anything

I want her to take a moment and understand

How beautiful she really is

But I am invisible

Like the whiskey slipping inside her throat

And the shower running around her mind

Graces me a silhouette for seconds more before

She rushes off and

I carry it inside me like lost songs and keys

Planting it under faces juxtaposed with need

Praying that life will  somehow grow

Wow. This is officially my favorite from you, and as you know, I've read a lot of your poetry, haha. This is beautiful.

That I do and Thanks L.
Emotions flow with smooth pronunciations of losing what has already been lost. The need
Well it only needs to be whispered and as you did~ express this very deep and gutting emotion ~that is why you are the Hawk
Felt every bit of it Hawk

And you da Canvas,,,Thanks Beautiful one..smiles!
Greetings to you from across the very long way~~~

This one evokes such powerful emotional imagery upon the landscape of the heart and with such precision. Simply stunning!

But then again, how could it not be, considering the poet?????

Loved this one!
