The Pace of Destiny

The Pace of Destiny

A Poem by Perdition

I chose a lovely pace

But the path so fiercely drained

I thought perchance to fly

but the firmaments I frowned so

Fogged and thick in prayer

The seas perhaps

but winds and course soon turned mockery of

my humble bow

Thus here I'll stray

A traveler

On a strand made of castaways

Someday I'll be made to leave this shore as well

But for now

How lovely each stone glides past

I agree with your sentiment, my dear poetic friend from across the way....

I have come to the realization that one of the elusive keys is to remain present, which enables us to relish every glorious second of right now!

Beautiful as always...
