That B*****d

That B*****d

A Poem by Perdition

I was out

Strolling again

Just me and the windy park

Never a better life

On the lamp of an old accordion street

This mockingbird danced

I leaned forward

Deeply rolling his juice

His moment

Almost singing to myself

You better not I thought

But sometimes happiness will find you

It jumps from the silence

Slams a pie on your head

Then skips away

And you stand there dripping and grinning

A note at your feet

Reads

See you soon
