The Life In WinterA Poem by PerditionLook at the snow my love Falling, twisting Twirling white
smiling rise The cumulative blockade to
a world abject life Isn’t it wonderful? To be once again in the
arms of a warm silence.. The roads smothered over in
heaven’s light Like all time spent 'tween you
and I This is where we can dance
again In alms of youth and mercy… Look at the snow my love Have you never seen
something quite so pure? The world now lost of centuries Tonight we'll claim our love again Out in the pastures of hoofs and driven sled Out in the eventual melting beauty And when the roads appear
again, I will whisper the words into your heart of the life to be found in midst of winter. © 2013 PerditionReviews
