Personal Dimension

Raggae songs on a rainy day,

make-believe summer,

a plea, a prayer,

an imagined rainbow

out the window,

a lone tire swing

by a lake yawning,

a poem not in rhyme,

a wind-rattled chime,

a well worn thought,

a notion, an inkling,

a lily in bloom; afloat,

an often misplayed note,

a skip too fast,

a scent that doesn't last,

an piece of Picasso,

a word spoken too soon.
