Years by my side

Years by my side

A Poem by Anthony

As I sit by myself
I see people walking by
Kids running, couples holding hands
I think to myself
They just don't understand
What life is really about

The poem raises lots of questions. What troubles can they have to see everything beautiful so negatively. The subjectiveness can also make it more relatable to a range of people. In my mind I see a bitter older person who has lost the possibilities to do. I wonder what you intended??

I like your message . . . so far . . . but I'm left wondering what is this business that you know about, but the rest of us evidently don't?!??!! Please enlighten us, don't just knock us for being clueless. That is to say . . . cut loose, my friend, & write everything on your mind. In reading these two postings of yours, I get the feeling you don't have the courage to really spill it. Just practice . . . it will be easier & more natural, the more you write down your feelings.

I do understand what you're saying, however. It can sometimes feel this way as people go about their daily business & seem to not notice the depth of what you & I are seeing & feeling . . .
