Double TalkA Poem by Mr. Deft DictionWe're all here looking for something. That's why little girls grow up needing protection within the Kingdom. We're all here looking for something. Poor man looks for change. Injustice looks for change. Snipers look for targets to lock aim. A boy in the projects is shooting jumpers in the cold, perfecting his aim. Only those who can afford it, know the price of fame. Then again, O.J. is footing the bill after an acquittal. An example for the system, his fame was in vain. Then they say that the younger generation is so vain. War is all around, so it's critical to have ice water running through your veins. Brothers on the down-low, changing lanes. Range Rovers hug the road closer when accelerating and changing lanes. We're all here looking for something. I don't do it as often as I should, so I kneel longer when I pray. I've got a child on the way, so everything standing in his or her way becomes my prey. They need to believe in something. We're all here looking for something, even if it can never be peace. Maybe I can change a little bit, starting with this piece. Peace.
