RealizationA Poem by Mr. Deft DictionThis is more "natural" for me. The tempo and the flow, really. I rhyme because I'm hip-hop; but I'm really comfortable in this 'skin', too.I thought of you today, and it felt so new, looking into the sky, because I could see seeded life in the womb of the clouds, and my reflection in blue. I promise you that for the rest of my life on this Earth, that I will reciprocate always, by being a reflection of you. And I still struggle at times with being a man and... trying my damndest to be as beautiful. I long for the touch of your fingertips as milligrams of bliss tingle on my lips, entering thru my own cuticles. I just want to hold hands and... do it like we're 'going steady', letting you know that these feelings birthed by our consumation is both identical and mutual. And I call you my wife because mothers make the breath possible; but what you possess and bless my humbled self with is life... paramount and on a path toward its pinnacle. There is no question about how devout I am, as my tongue tastes every single syllable of your hummed spiritual, when we.... sit in the crescent moon and I try to impress you in school boy ways by throwing stars in the sky. None of them really can compare to the twinkle in your eyes, or be as inviting as your smile. If I die tonight, I should hope that my request is granted with you as my last meal.
I thought of you today, and tomorrow will only be different in Julian days, because this vibe is so nice, to walk away would be the death of dreams and.... you let me know that those are real. Please feel my.... Love. © 2008 Mr. Deft DictionFeatured Review
