Love for the Purist

Love for the Purist

A Poem by Mr. Deft Diction
"

I just dig this feeling.

"

...and I dreamt of you like a complete craving,

my desires heightening,

my heart caving....

beating intermittently, inside,

my butterflies are smitten,

able to let go of all of....

this that I've been saving....

and I dreamt of you like a complete craving,

gracing scenes and countering the balance of

destined themes…

and it seems like percentages of my brain are stimulated in ways

that make me incredibly capable of picking up

on your waves

If I could, I’d create a maze that wouldn’t be escapable,

Every way would lead right back to you.

I’d compose the greatest song,

Moving me to tears because it is so spiritual.

I’d sip from the same cup as my last supper,

Hoping that we’d be able to come together and expand on rituals.

I’d place my hands on your forehead

And transfer what it is that I see,

For your very own visual.

…and I dreamt of you like a complete craving…

ideally saving your softness for places you’ve yet to arrive.

I'd start from the beginning of your thighs...

I would explore the history of the world

From within your womb,

Re-writing classic scriptures in our own language,

As time begins to fade and

A higher intensity of light begins to bloom.

And I dreamt of you like a complete craving….

Saying my name.

Beautiful poem,, I love the lines "If I could, I'd create a maze that wouldn't be escapable,

Every way would lead right back to you." That really captured my thoughts and put in perspective the way your shadow dances.

I really enjoyed this..

What can I say. Your the master at just getting under the skin and transferring feeling we have
into delicious words.

I'd start from the beginning of your thighs...

I would explore the history of the world

From within your womb,

Re-writing classic scriptures in our own language,

As time begins to fade and

A higher intensity of light begins to bloom.

And I dreamt of you like a complete craving.

I loved the way you started... as if this is continued from a previous thought... life is motion and art is moments in time... wonderful imagery from the beginnng of this work. Your bold style makes me sit up and take notice. Your words are powerful and meaningful. Really great work.

*faints*

Those words would make me say I do a million times...

Breatheless I am left in the beauty of this beyond life peace.

Speechless I am in the wake of this beautiful out pouring from your soul..

Damn P.G.
