Flow, Jo

Flow, Jo

A Poem by Mr. Deft Diction
"

Just a little exercise for me. When I don't feel "poetic", I usually try and flow for a little bit.

"

It seems like whatever I do,

haters stick to me like Krazy Glue/

until I hit 'em with some NBA Live,

freestyle moves/

step in my shoes and/

show these lames how to groove/

most of you all dunk on eight-foot rims/

I bang on eight-footers/

crack the ground when I come back down/

say peace to the on-lookers/

flow so hard the movements bound to cause motion sickness/

so many cats out here with the cold/

but I'm sorta like walking pneumonia/

I'm possibly the sickest...

It seems like whatever I do....

mu'f****s want me to help them out, too/

I have a passion for spittin' fire/

inhaling fire/

limited kicks and flashy rims and tires/

what makes you move?/

I've been on the bottom rung for too long/

start lifting yourself some weights/

learn how to hold on/

I'm like a run-down city hospital/

all of my patience is gone/

bored to death with the bullshit

new rappers be on/

and though I'm not a rapper,

it seems like whatever I do...

I gotta be the conceited dude/

I feel like Rocawear,

them other cats must feel like FUBU/

grapple with cats/

toss 'em on they heads and give 'em an "F-You"/

Peoples hands are Raw from giving Smackdowns/

and whatever I do is not enough for you/

so this freestyle is it/

no hands on the steering wheel,

blowing choke/

that's how I spit.

Still/

it seems that whatever I do

is not enough for you/

so I do for me

I have written a couple poems like that. About those haters out there, or those others who want to break you down. But deep down, they are unhappy with themselves. Again, nice job at such unique analogies and getting out of the norm and doing something different. it makes it more exciting for the reader. keep doin what you doin.

Nicely done sir
I'm always in awe of those who can string together words like that

I could hear the influx of your words, a solid voice rapping it out as I read the flowing flavor of the freestyle....

Great Job....

Imogean~
