Timing vs. Inevitable

Timing vs. Inevitable

A Poem by Mr. Deft Diction

“Timing vs. Inevitable”

How beautiful....

far beyond the usual,

you move me to

wonder....

beneath the visuals.

And I'm good...

for now.

Curtsies and King-ing me,

bringing me certainty

and evidence...

substances of what's deemed Heavenly.

And today is grey...

I just wanted to really be up in her today.

Biting my lip and raising my fist,

full range of motion off of the things

I've witnessed her say.

And I'm good...

for now.

Until I realize the look in her eyes.

Curteous smiles, no lies...

parting with such virtuosity and structure

never makes for an easy goodbye.

Hanging on in her atmosphere,

for she is the sky.

Along with the sun, the wind and all.

She represents no sign of a fall.

Hovering above me like an angel called.

She takes me to places I've always wanted to be;

she's a blessing.

And I'm good...

for now.

"...bringing me certainty...

And today is grey...

Beautiful as always...strong sentiments described so admirably, the imagery leaves me saying DAY-YUM. Your greatest strength here though is how powerfully your longing comes through. Although you are seemingly content, even you know things can't go on like this forever.
Great job.
Hope you didn't lose too much in "The Purge," cause I really love your work.

"Curtsies and King-ing me,

That was spoken masterfully. The imagery was as beautiful as flow of them poem itself.
You were able to tell in detail each and every emotion you are going through. Good write

I hope you don't mind me puuting the same review up here...

But I must say upon reading this again and again I see more than I saw before...

Hanging on in her atmosphere,

for she is the sky.

Along with the sun, the wind and all.

Ha, She is the Wind
.... Say it isn't so...lol...

She represents no sign of a fall.

No sign of a fall... wow.. Maybe that is what makes her the previous things you stated.
And the reason why you can call her and angel....

Hovering above me like an angel called.

Lovely every time lovely

How could she do anything other than king you and curtsy in your present?

I believe she becomes "these things" to you because you are" these things to her"

The real beauty of this piece is your ability to know you are "good" as you build with her...

Be it actual or virtual.

"Curtsies and King-ing me,

bringing me certainty

and evidence...

substances of what's deemed Heavenly.

And today is grey...

I just wanted to really be up in her today.

Biting my lip and raising my fist,

full range of motion off of the things

I've witnessed her say."

Wow.. You said so much in this that it is hard for "me" to even respond fully, for it left my tongue tied
for lack of terms that really described just how much this particular piece of your peace is laced with
meaning and ...

I am sure if she could respond she would say .... *smiles*

I have read this over and over and each time it increases with sincerity and intensity. It is hard not to believe this is a true testimony of sorts but you place her so high above so much, it must be a fantasy...

She couldn't be real at least not in the way you paint her and if she is I wonder could she digest this to be truth...

However whether she could or not, I am positive she would bow at your feet just the same and say Thank You King...

P.G. Riot,

This is the epitome of loveliness. I adore your when your pen speaks, may he never be silenced.

*curtsy*

Oh yeah and I like the way you used the word King-ing...
