A Poem by Pentarch
"

2nd poem, kind of a sequel to the first. I don't like it half as much though, though I'll post it here none the less.

"

Gauze keeps an umbral barrier between myself, and overdosing
on nightmares.
Synapses unload full cartridges of incendiary rounds,
tempering.
Morphine, my flak jacket, combating the serpentine grip
of the "Average Joe".
Sightless, I know you're there, grasping the hands of a
Mad-man.
It only took a three story drop, and six months, to fully comprehend
                      .  .  .
                 I was wrong.

I don't know if I told you before. But I love these lines
"It only took a three story drop, and six months, to fully comprehend
. . .
I was wrong."

A lot. I mean, an absurd amount. Because you've explained such a hard to describe feeling.
You really are amazing.
