The Prince

The Prince

A Poem by Ink

D arkness crept over our lands a few sunlight to be seen
R aging winds race towards the castle unbuckling our doors
A ngered man walked inside ,smelt of blood from his breath
C loser he came to the throne, he cried "My home!"
U ndefeated by many armies for he had nothing left to loose
L anguid dreams and memories, no more tears to shed
A n expensive deal he made with the devil, his soul was spent
