This poem is about God's love for us even when we go away from him he is always. If we turn to Jesus he forgives us of all our sin and takes away our heavy burdens. Also remember to Praise God.

Redemption Road

I found my Savior waiting for me on redemption road

 

I laid it all down at the cross and he took my heavy load

 

Even though my deepest sin would condemn me to hell

 

Because you died for me in my life all is well

 

Now I want to spread your good news

 

Serving you Lord is what I choose

 

Jesus you shed your blood to set the captive free

 

You opened the eyes of the spiritually blind and now they see

 

No matter God how much in my past I ran away

 

You show me love and new mercy everyday

 

It is your greatest desire to see no one lost

 

Serving you Lord is worth all the cost

 

You guide my steps and keep me from harm

 

Lord Jesus you love me and hold me in your arms

 

I will forever exalt and lift up your name

 

When you changed my heart I was never the same

 

Yes my Lord Savior I met you on redemption road

 

Because you died for my sins and your great to me you did show

 

If you have lost your way and our bearing sin and troubles as a heavy load

 

Reach out to Jesus and he will meet you on redemption road.
