My Best Friend

I have a best friend who sticks with me through thick and thin

One day I will look on his face when this life ends

 

He walks beside me everywhere I go

Daily with him it is the ticket to the world greatest show

 

He loved me so much he died for me

Because of his death on the cross my sins are covered and I am set free

 

I want to show his Love to others because he changed my life

He even gave me a Godly lady who I call my wife

 

In my spirit he has started a wildfire

Now serving Him is my one desire

 

The greatest thing I can do is souls for Him

Lord lead and guide my steps even over the brim

 

God I know you want to give me the desires of my heart

My Love for you will never part

 

Thank you Lord for revealing yourself to me each day

If I stumble you pick me up and put back on the right way

 

At the journey when my life comes to an end

I will go to Heaven and see for real my best friend!
