A tribute to Friends

A tribute to Friends

A Poem by PenguinChild
"

I wrote this a while ago and I know the rhyming is quite basic, but my friends seem to like it

"

A tribute to the one I call friend
For now and ever, not just a trend

A bond of love that we conceive
I can’t live without, something to believe

I wanted nothing more: one to understand
Without any question, you hold out your hand

Strike me down mistakes with your spite
My friends hold me up to conquer the fight

Where we go from here is hard to control,
But I am so grateful you were part of my soul

Miraculous our force we comprehend
Genuine trust, becomes easier to lend

Breathe our spirit now, eternity will exhale
Angel of mercy gave me someone who can’t fail

Very touching, it's emotion and sadness in their glory, well done.
