I just did it
signed a contract with death

Had a cigarette

What chained my mind
Is now oblliviated

The world seems closer
In every exhale

I thought of my grandpa on the third puff

Everyone makes mistakes

All I can do is learn
And remember an absolution
Runs freely, like smoke

Nicely done! Poetry is such a wonderful way to express ones self. I've never smoked, but I have alot of friends who have or do. So, I know how difficult it can be to stop. I'm glad you were able to voice your inner feelings during this time in your life.
Keep up the good work.
