Jeeper's Peter's

Jeeper's Peter's

A Poem by Pennywriter

The Ballad of Jeeper’s Peter’s

Jeeper’s Peter’s

Sleeps in

The wine cellars.

The Shopkeeper,

When day sets in,

Notices wines

Missing by the dozens.

Nocturnal Peters

Roams at night,

Under moonlight,

He prefers.

Hiding

In a tree,

Life is carefree

For Lurker Peter’s.

It’s all

Cloak and dagger

For young Peter.

 A roller coaster

Of thievery,

Money and gold,

Is all Peter can see.

Murder,

It ain’t a mystery,

Is

Peter’s middle name.

Hanging

Peter to the tree

Is a village party,

For dancing dwellers.

Sleeper Peter’s

Rests in

His tomb,

Until

Night falls.

A spirit

In pain,

Roams aimlessly

In the plains.

The Young drifter

Haunts the fields,

With all the grudges

He holds.
