Through the window

What do you see?

It’s all so peaceful,

So sunny,

You’re on

The right side of the street

It seems,

To me…

 

What about our

Daily struggles aplenty…

Heartache, plague,

Hunt for jobs,

Money, comfort,

And acceptance?

 

Life’s no joke.

Or maybe it is:

If you put

Your laughter to it.

Would you dare to?

Surrounded by grumpy mugs?

I have most of the things you mentioned here. Job, money, comfort, struggles, joy, heartache, pain. Yet I never feel settled boss. The restlessnes remains. The way countless people have been ending it so casually these days makes me think what is life but a joke?

Thank you for your comment. I too have all this and outrageous comfort. But being restless is not necessarily a bad thing. It often pushes oneself to be active and creative. One can turn a problem into stimulation. Life is serious. But it can still be enjoyable. And even make you laugh depending on situations.
