The girl in the jewellery shop

The girl in the jewellery shop

A Poem by Pennywriter

The girl in the Jewellery shop

She works in the

Jewellery shop

You usually go to.

You “like diamonds”

You say…

Be it “red, brown or yellow”.

But in truth,

Is it really for jewellery

That you visit the boutique?

Sometimes you've just got to mine the diamond and hope the sparkle is a yes.

Indeed...indeed...
It sounds to me as if the prospective buyer is looking for a different kind of gem.
