Greatest Depths I'll SeekA Poem by Adam LightI'm almost too embarrassed to post this. Almost.Dear, single lady, I am not afraid to say that you've never met a guy like me and you've never been my way. I am a single man, and I've got a lot to give. I'm thirty-two years old, and with love I want to live. I want to kiss a woman. I want to make her chuckle. I want to try romance, and have my belt unbuckled. I want to smell perfume, and I want to show some love. A woman's dreams I want to treasureand lift her from above. Do I want a girlfriend or wife? That, I cannot know. How can I want who've I've not met, and into nothing grow? That's the wrong question, girl, I'm pretty sure. I can only meet someone, then ask if I want her. I'm sorry I can't answer it yes or no in a profile, but I don't claim to want things that I haven't given trial. Of course I want love, and everything involved, but a girlfriend or a wife, is not just a goal to be resolved. Not in itself; not all alone. Every woman is unique. And if I fall in love with one, her greatest depths I'll seek.
