I Did Not Know FearA Poem by Adam LightGetting to know fear on a personal level can be uplifting!I used to walk with lowered eyes, when fear I did not know, but now I can fly, and fly I will, over the alluring, coarse world below.
Fear is the fuel for all my flight; I am pleased that we have met, thanks to the shadows of the wings that thrashed to me a vital threat.
I did not know fear when I was still Earth-bound, I only heard the thrashings and saw shadows on the ground.
But at last, I'd had enough, and I sprang into the air. Fear became my winged ally, and the sky became my lair.
