Broken

Broken

A Poem by Pencalibur

The water shows my reflection
But I see right through me
To the cloudless blue sky
Wishing I knew where I wanted to be.

They say home is where the heart is
So my home is on the floor
Broken and shattered and ruined
Full of the holes that you tore.

Then again, is it really shattered?
Or just broken in two
Flooded with the indecision
Of loving and hating you.

Whether it be halves or pieces
I wish they would decide
Because I love you ‘cause I love you
But I hate you ‘cause you lied

Lol. Not your poem, but your pic you use by the author's note. Love it.

As for the poem, that is pretty good. Love some of the lines you use. Especially the last ones. Kudos.

"Flooded with the indecision

I really really really liked this line! I just can't resist reading a poem that's titled Broken (haha).
It was really well done, and it puts strong feelings into definitive words, which is always difficult.
Good job!
