"Some people of great social importance convey to me that searching for meaning in the midst of the chaos that is existence without the help of The Divine is inherently pointless, like a blind man looking for himself in a room full of mirrors. Yet I cannot help it; although I am in no way convinced of the existence of God and see no reason for his presence in my life, I see significance in a pendant worn around a stranger's neck, detect emotion in a hummingbird hovering above a wilting flower, perceive beauty in the roots growing out of cracks in the pavement.
Delusional, childish? Maybe I am indeed all of those things, but I care not.
Instead I ask myself, 'without these beautiful glimpses of Life within existence, would this world still be worth living in?'
The answer is as bleak as the reality of such a world. 
And if this is indeed the presence of God, the worship I give him by being in awe of all of these things is far more than I could ever hope to give, kneeling in church while praying to a corpse."
